Dr. Peter J. Weinberg holds over 30 years of experience as a professional in psychology. He was a treatment provider and clinical director who developed and directed mental health programs in Vermont, Connecticut, and Colorado. His leadership and reputation as an advocate for expanding our understanding of mental health and well-being led to a gubernatorial appointment to the Colorado Autism Commission by Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. Dr. Weinberg was chair of the strategic development committee.

Dr. Weinberg's history of advocacy includes work with the Colorado Legislature and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association on mental health issues. Over the past 15 years Dr. Weinberg focused on bringing psychology to litigation strategy through Litigare Litigation Consulting and as an Advisory Board member (past) for PsychoLAWgy. Litigare was founded in 2009 by Dr. Weinberg. The company’s overall success rate (2009-2023) was 92%. Part of that success was credited to the application of evidence-based research as the cornerstone for strategy. It was the perfect blend between theory and application. That understanding lead Dr. Weinberg to create a strategy that detailed the process to present PTSD as a permanent physical injury through codified scientific evidence. Dr. Weinberg expanded upon his PTSD strategy and developed strategies for:

·         Depression

As a past advisory board member for PsychoLAWgy, Dr. Weinberg made recommendations on bringing psychology to settlements and litigation in the Latin American court system.

Throughout his career, Dr. Weinberg has focused on the partnership between education and human development. He engages in this process as a consultant, trainer, and expert for for-profit and not-for-profit businesses on multiple topics including creating mentally healthy systems.
